         <title><![CDATA[First Win]]></title>

         <description><![CDATA[At approximately 6 p.m. this evening, I wrote my 50,261st word, to win my first NaNoWriMo.  My wrists hurt, my fingers hurt.  I'm tired, my brain is tired. I still have over 24 hours, and my story could use another 10 - 15,000 words so I'll see how many of those I can slam out between now and then.  I scroll the nanowrimo message boards and see how many dropped out, how many did not come close, how many who still have a chance and are still fighting (those I am cheering on).          <title><![CDATA[First Time]]></title>

         <description><![CDATA[Late one night about 4 weeks ago, on a whim, I signed up for NaNoWriMo having absolutely no idea what I would write.  That night I had a long, strange, convoluted dream and woke up with a title and a skeleton.  Has anyone participated before?  I'd love to hear about your experience.  Right now, I envision myself starting strong and holding that momentum for about 10 days.  Then I see me hitting myself in the head.  Repeatedly.<br /><br />        Alex]]></description>
